We Celebrated the World Environment Day

June 5 is celebrated as World Environment Day. The 2023 theme of the events, spread over a week in Türkiye, was determined as “Clean Sea Clean World” by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change.
Within the scope of this theme, Kadir Has University staff and students participated in the Golden Horn Sea Cleanup event organized by Fatih Municipality on Monday, June 5, between 10:30-12:30 at Fatih Municipality Canoe and Rowing Sports Center. Fatih Municipality Mayor M. Ergün Turan informed the participants about the work carried out while IHH divers were scanning the seabottom. Afterward, a waste collection activity was held in the green area on the coastal side of campus.
