Kadir Has University campus, located in the district of Fatih in Istanbul, in the Cibali neighborhood on the shore of the Golden Horn, can be easily reached from every point of Istanbul. Tekel Cibali Factory building, which was used as Tekel’s tobacco warehouse and cigarette factory, was restored in accordance with its original form and turned into our university campus.
Today, the rectorate, faculties, institutes, and research centers serve on this campus, located in a historically significant region of Istanbul, which is impressive and has traces of the past. Our campus has received the European architecture award “Europa Nostra Award.”
The campus has an indoor usage area of 50 thousand square meters, including classrooms, laboratories, an information center (library), theatre, conference and movie theaters, sports facilities, restaurants, cafeterias, and a dance studio.
