Double Major Program
The aim of the Double Major Program is to enable students who want to study in a second major to obtain a second bachelor’s degree while continuing their major undergraduate program with outstanding success.
Application and Admission Conditions
1. The criteria that students who want to apply to Double Major Programs are expected;
- To be in the third, at the latest in the fifth semester in the Major Program
- To have a minimum GPA of at least 2.72 out of 4.00
- To be in the 20% in terms of success
– ÖSYM students who are not in the 20% are expected to have a Central Placement Score (ÖSYM), which is not less than the base score of the program in which the Double Major Program will be applied.
– The criteria for providing a base score for International Students who are not in the 20% are evaluated together with the International Office and the relevant Faculty within the scope of “Regulations for the Acceptance of Foreign Students into Undergraduate Programs.”
- Having succeeded in all the courses taken in the Major Program
– A student who has received an FF grade in XXX, then re-takes this course and succeeded with a CC grade can apply. The important thing is the final grade of the courses.
2. Students who want to do a Double Major in Law, Engineering, and Architecture programs where a success rating is required must meet the success rating requirement set by the Higher Education Council for the related program in the year they register.
– Students who are registered within the scope of international student admission quotas and students who cannot achieve the YKS success order coming from abroad with lateral transfer cannot receive Double Major education among the programs whose success order is sought (Law, Engineering and Architecture programs).
3. Students who study in the Theater Department and want to apply for a Double Major in another department are expected to meet the base score of our University in the score type of the relevant department and the success ranking requirement determined by the Council of Higher Education.
4. Students who meet the criteria mentioned above can make their Double Major Program applications online through MyKhas Portal.
5. Applications are evaluated by the Dean’s Office of the relevant Faculty.
6. Admission procedures for Double Major Programs are submitted to the Student Affairs Directorate with the decision of the Faculty Administrative Board regarding the Department’s recommendation of the Double Major Program applied for, and registration is done.
7. The scholarships of the students who attend a Double Major Program shall proceed for four years, eight semesters without interruption as of the semester they started the double major program.

Minor Program
The aim of the Minor Program is to ensure that students complete a limited number of courses on a specific subject and qualify for the Minor Certificate.
Application and Admission Conditions
1. The criteria that students who want to apply to Minor Programs are expected;
- To be in the third, at the latest in the sixth semester in the Major Program
- To have a minimum GPA of at least 2.50 out of 4.00
- Having succeeded in all the courses taken in the Major Program
– A student who has received an FF grade in XXX, then re-takes this course and succeeded with a CC grade can apply. The important thing is the final grade of the courses.
2. Students who meet the criteria mentioned above can make their Minor Program applications online through MyKhas Portal.
3. Applications are evaluated by the Dean’s Office of the relevant Faculty.
4. Admission procedures for Minor Programs are submitted to the Student Affairs Directorate with the decision of the Faculty Administrative Board regarding the Department’s recommendation of the Minor Program applied for, and registration is done.
5. A student who voluntarily cancels his/her registration from a Minor Program or whose registration has been canceled cannot re-register to the same Minor Program. Can choose another Minor Program.
