Born in Konya in 1963, Mr. Süer İsmail Sülün completed his secondary education in Kuleli Military High School and afterwards graduated from Boğaziçi University Department of Economy. He holds an MBA degree from Istanbul University majoring in Corporate Finance.

Having launched his career in Otomarsan Finance Division in 1988, Mr. Süer SÜLÜN worked as a Finance Director Assistant there between 1991 and 1992.

Serving as the Group Manager in the Product Controlling/ Cost Accounting Department at Mercedes-Benz Türk from 1992 to 1997, he held the offices of Accounting, Tax and Insurance Management between 1997 and 2002 and HTA Marketing and Sales & Dealer Management Director between 2001 and 2007.

Having been as the Executive Committee Member for Marketing and Sales in Mercedes-Benz Türk since 2007, Mr. Süer SÜLÜN also works as the CEO and Executive Committee Chairman on top of his such position since 2016.

Süer Sülün is a member of Deutsche-Turkische Industrie-und Handelskammer, Foreign Economic Relations Board of Turkey, Automotive Manufacturers Association, Turkish Industrialists and Business People’s Association, Foreign Investors Association, the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey, Turkish Employers’ Association of Metal Industries and Berlin Bosporus Initiative (BBI).

Süer Sülün speaks English and is currently a member of the Board of Trustees in Kadir Has University as of April 1, 2019.
