Born in Erzurum in 1976, Erkan Karasu graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Law in 1997.

Having completed his intern training at Ankara Bar Association in 1997-1998, Karasu worked at the Bank and Commerce Law Research Institute in 1998-1999. He was an Associate Attorney in Dayınlarlı&Gürsel Law Firm (1999-2000) and Boğaziçi&Karasu Law Firm (2002-2006).

He has been a Managing Partner in Boğaziçi&Karasu Law Firm since 2004. Holding a Master’s Degree in Commerce Law, he is also a lecturer in Istanbul Bar Association Intern Training Center since 2008 majoring in the fields of Civil Procedures Law and Bankruptcy and Execution Law.

Atty. Erkan KARASU speaks English and is currently a member of the Board of Trustees in Kadir Has University as of March 1, 2019.
