Instructional design is the scientific and pedagogical structuring of every course element—from core philosophy to assessment methods—in alignment with learning objectives. Our center guides faculty through this architectural process to elevate course quality and student engagement.
- Syllabus Architecture: Strategically planning weekly flows and weighting distributions as the foundational framework of the course.
- Outcome & Assessment Alignment: Strategically mapping required student competencies consistently against midterms, projects, and final evaluations.
- Accreditation Compliance: Ensuring course contents align fully with national quality criteria and program learning outcomes.
- Active Learning Tools: Moving beyond lectures by integrating tools like Padlet, Mentimeter, and Kahoot to drive mental engagement.
- Asynchronous Content Architecture: Enhancing out-of-class learning materials with H5P interactive video and practice modules.
- KHAS Learn Standards: Rightly integrating weekly module layouts and formative assessment steps into the digital ecosystem.
