Coursera Learning Platform Principles
Undergraduate students at Kadir Has University can benefit from the widely used COURSERA platform to gain a personalized learning experience, contribute to their academic development, and take advantage of modern educational opportunities.
- Scope: All undergraduate students within the specified quota will be able to benefit from this opportunity.
- Credit Condition: Each Coursera course corresponds to 1 ECTS credit value per 25 hours of workload. A maximum of 6 ECTS can be transferred in total. Courses without certificates will not be credited.
- Process and Approval (As of 2026-2027): Starting from the 2026-2027 academic year, credit transfer procedures will be carried out by the Directorate of Student Affairs upon the recommendation of the Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching (CELT) and the decision of the Faculty Board of Directors.
- Transcript Display: Courses will be shown on the transcript as “KH-COURSERA Coursera Free Elective Course” with a “Pass” (G) grade, included in credits without affecting the Grade Point Average (GPA).
- Summer/Intersemesters Constraint: Courses taken within the scope of programs opened for personal development during summer and intersemesters are not evaluated within the scope of academic credits.
