Special Student

• At Kadir Has University, the Faculty of Law and the Department of Theatre offer 30% of their courses in English, while other departments offer 100% of their courses in English.
• To apply for the status of a special student, it is required to get approval from the relevant faculty’s board at the registered university or to submit an official document written by the relevant dean’s office on behalf of the student.
• Those who take courses as special students are not considered as students of Kadir Has University and cannot benefit from student rights. However, they are expected to follow the regulations and rules of Kadir Has University.
• Gaining this status does not mean acceptance to a diploma program. The transcripts of the special students who successfully complete their courses are sent to their registered university.
• Special student admission is only valid for one semester. Those who wish to take courses in the upcoming semesters must reapply.
• Undergraduate students can only benefit from special student status for a maximum of two semesters in total.

• Special student registration must be completed within the course registration period specified in the academic calendar.
• Those who register as special students are issued a student ID card by the university.

2. Identity Document: Turkish ID card / Blue card / Photocopy of passport (both sides on a single page)
3. Student Certificate: It must be obtained from the university you are registered at.
4. Board Decision: An official letter from the relevant faculty of the university you are registered at, stating that they permit you to take courses as a special student.
5. One photograph.
6. Students registered in programs where the language of instruction is Turkish must provide documentation proving that their foreign language proficiency is sufficient in order to take courses from programs where the language of instruction is a foreign language.

• Special students pay the tuition fee determined by the Board of Trustees based on the ECTS credits of the courses they take. Once the payment is made, no fee refund is possible. In the event that the courses you registered for are not offered, the fee paid for these courses will be refunded by the Directorate of Financial Affairs.

• If your application is accepted, the registration and course registration processes will be carried out by the Directorate of Student Affairs. The payment must be completed and approval from the Directorate of Financial Affairs must be obtained.
• If the payment is not made within the specified time, your course registration is cancelled.
