Sports at KHAS

Kadir Has University considers sport to be an integral part of students’ academic, social, and personal development. The University provides high-quality sporting environments across various disciplines in order to support the physical, mental, and social development of its students, while promoting discipline, teamwork, leadership, and lifelong healthy living habits through sports.

The sports activities carried out at our University enable students to make productive use of their time outside the classroom, improve their physical capacities, and actively engage in campus life. In addition, Kadir Has University sports teams successfully represent the University in competitions organized by the Turkish University Sports Federation (TUSF). Through their national achievements, our teams earn the right to represent both our University and Türkiye in international competitions organized by the European University Sports Association (EUSA).

In recent years, achievements in rowing, sailing, basketball, volleyball, fencing, folk dance, swimming, squash, and many other disciplines at both national and European levels have demonstrated Kadir Has University’s strong position in high-performance sports. With its supportive infrastructure, expert coaching staff, and student-athlete-friendly approach, the University offers students opportunities to excel both academically and athletically.

Kadir Has University aims to support sporting excellence and encourage student-athletes to successfully balance their academic and athletic careers.
