FREEZING REGISTRATION

Dear Students,

To freeze your registration, you must apply using the Freeze Registration Request Form available on MYKHAS between the dates specified in the academic calendar.

The registrations of students in the preparatory program may be frozen by the decision of the School Board of Directors, and the registrations of students in the undergraduate program may be frozen by the decision of the Faculty Board of Directors within the period specified in the academic calendar. In cases exceeding this period due to force majeure, a decision of the University Board of Directors is required.

A suspension of registration may be permitted for a maximum of two semesters (fall and spring) at a time and a maximum of four semesters during the study period.

A student whose request to freeze their registration is accepted must pay one-fourth of the tuition fee in order for their request to be processed. The amount of tuition fee to be paid by scholarship/discount students in the event of freezing their registration is calculated as one-fourth of the amount of the tuition fee that exceeds the amount of the scholarship and discount. If the fee is not paid within two weeks from the date the decision to freeze registration is made, the decision to freeze registration will be lifted retroactively.

In case of suspension of registration, the maximum education period stipulated in paragraph (c) of Article 44 of Law No. 2547 will not be applied.
