Nuri HAS

Nuri Has was born in Istanbul in 1972.
He completed his primary education at İlhami Ahmet Örnekal Elementary School and his secondary education at Özel Kalamış High School. Has, who studied undergraduate and business administration at Georgetown University (Washington, DC) and The American University (Washington, DC), also received a bachelor’s degree from the Department of Business Administration at Kadir Has University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences.
Nuri Has, who started his business life in 1994 at Has Otomotiv Ticaret ve Sanayi A.Ş., was appointed General Manager of this organization in 2003 and Chairman of the Board of Directors in 2007 and then in 2014.
Nuri Has, who has been working at the Kadir Has Foundation, which was established in 1992, since 1996, served as the Assistant Foundation Manager and Foundation Manager, respectively, and was elected as a Member of the Board of Trustees in 1999.
Nuri Has, who served as the Chairman of the Kadir Has Foundation for a period, continues to serve as the Vice Chairman of the Foundation as of July 1, 2023.
Has, who was elected as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Republic of Turkey Kadir Has University in 2004, served as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University between 2007-2011 and 2015-2019, and as the Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University between 2011-2015 and 2019-2023, and then took on the role of the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Kadir Has University as of July 1, 2023.
Nuri Has, who speaks English, is married with two children.
