KHAS Faculty Member Dr. Sibel Karadağ Appointed to the Board of Border Forensics
Dr. Sibel Karadağ, faculty member in the Department of Political Science and International Relations at Kadir Has University, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of Border Forensics, an international research collective that investigates and documents human rights violations in border regions.
Bringing together leading scholars and researchers from around the world who specialize in border studies, Border Forensics stands out as a pioneering platform that supports the production of knowledge on migration, border governance, and human rights. Dr. Karadağ has earned the distinction of being the first academic from Turkey to be elected to the board, following a special invitation and vote by the members.
This prestigious appointment highlights Dr. Karadağ’s significant international impact in the fields of border politics, migration, and human rights, while also reinforcing our university’s academic contributions to these critical global issues.
