#BeyondTheNoise Media Literacy and Combating Disinformation Conference
The Delegation of the European Union to Türkiye, hosted by Kadir Has University, is organizing its third Conference on Media Literacy and Combating Disinformation this year.
The conference will take place on 17 February 2026 at Kadir Has University, D Block, Great Hall, to promote media literacy and discuss effective strategies to combat disinformation.
Bringing together leading experts, fact-checkers, journalists, academics, digital platform representatives, and relevant stakeholders, the conference will revisit approaches to accessing accurate information and countering disinformation in the digital sphere, with a particular focus on algorithms and artificial intelligence.

The conference will feature an exhibition titled “#BeyondTheNoise: Between Fact and Manipulation.” Simultaneous interpretation will be provided throughout the event.
