Battery Systems Course in Mechatronics Engineering Meets Industry
Engineering program, a guest lecture event was organized with the contribution of Asst. Prof. Dr. Vahit Barış Tavakol.
Turgay Gücükoğlu, Battery Controls Senior Team Leader at AVL Türkiye, participated as the guest speaker.
The session covered AVL Türkiye’s contributions to the automotive industry and provided students with valuable insights on integrating academic knowledge with industry practices and shaping their careers accordingly. A technical presentation on battery structures and battery management systems in electric vehicles was also delivered.
In line with our project-based education approach, real industry battery projects provided by AVL Türkiye were assigned to students as final projects. These projects will be evaluated by a jury consisting of course instructors and AVL experts.
