Appointment System and Process

Appointment System and Process

The Kadir Has University Psychological Counseling and Guidance Center provides services through an appointment-based system. Our primary principle is to respond to all applications promptly and to offer equal access to services for all students.

1

Making an Appointment

University students may request an appointment by clicking on the “PDR” tab on the main page of the MyKHAS application and completing the relevant form.

2

Initiation of the Process

Once your request is received, one of our professionals will contact you for a brief phone screening interview. Following this interview, your first counseling session will be scheduled.

3

Fees

All psychological counseling services are provided free of charge to Kadir Has University students.

4

Session Format and Duration

Sessions are conducted face-to-face or online via Microsoft Teams. The individual counseling process lasts 8 weeks, with each session scheduled for 50 minutes.

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend your appointment, you are expected to notify us at least 24 hours in advance.

Attendance Policy

Except for official holidays, students who miss more than two appointments without a valid excuse during the academic term will have their counseling process terminated.
