“Education at KHAS” introduces a brand-new education model that goes beyond traditional approaches, cultivating graduates who are entirely unique and will shape and direct the future world. With our 5 Faculties and 21 Departments, we implement the Project / Case-Based Education Model!
Project / Case-Based Education:
- With course programs prepared in collaboration with expert academics from Turkey and abroad, leading representatives from various sectors, and R&D departments of private sector companies,
- Where theoretical knowledge and application skills are applied to project development processes,
- Featuring an assessment and evaluation system conducted through presentations, discussions, project reports, and articles, instead of classic exams,
- Aiming for learning not by memorizing, but by doing, experiencing, and applying,
- Where each course has at least one academic and one industry mentor,
- Encouraging students to specialize in multiple fields simultaneously through double major and minor programs,
- A structure that offers undergraduate students the opportunity to take part in research projects from their freshman year.
Common Courses Department:
- Course content in small classes, based on active participation, that improves students’ English skills,
- Offering different measurement and evaluation methods that enable students to learn by researching and doing, and encourage teamwork,
- Consisting of 4 years of common courses where universal values are conveyed and thinking skills needed by questioning individuals are developed.
Our Industrial Stakeholders:
- Play an active role in the creation, execution, and grading of projects,
- Provide our students with long-term internship opportunities in production facilities and R&D laboratories.
