TÜBİTAK 1001 Project Workshop for Prof. Dr. Başak Baysal
The 1st Workshop of TUBITAK 1001 Project titled Digital Personality and Protection of Digital Heritage in the Information Society was held at Kadir Has University.
The first workshop of the TUBITAK 1001 project numbered 122K868 titled “Protection of Digital Personality and Digital Heritage in the Information Society – Posthumous Protection of Personal Rights and Personal Data within the Framework of Individuals’ Perceptions of Digital Personality and Immortality within the Scope of Adaptation to Information Technologies – Developing a Legal Policy and Legislation Proposal Compatible with Individuals’ Risk Perceptions and Protection Needs” was held on Monday, February 24, 2025 at Kadir Has University Cibali Campus. Within the scope of the workshop with participants from the fields of law, management information systems, psychology and industrial design, the survey process and survey outputs, which aim to measure individuals’ approaches to the concepts of digital heritage and digital personality and their level of knowledge on these issues, were evaluated; discussions were held regarding the survey results and the data that are particularly important within the framework of the current legislation.
