Erasmus+ Staff Mobility within Europe -outgoıng

There are two types of programs which enable staff exchange under Erasmus+ KA131 Erasmus Staff Mobility.

  1. Staff Mobility for Teaching Assignments (STA) (Academic Staff)
  2. Staff Mobility for Staff Training (STT) (Administrative Staff)

IMPORTANT NOTE: BLENDED INTENSIVE MOBILITY

Blended activities are a combination of virtual activities and physical activities. As of 2023 project, you can participate to blended mobility. Please keep in mind that during these blended intensive programs, you will undertake a short-term physical mobility abroad combined with a compulsory virtual component (before or after physical mobility)

Staff Training (STT) / Staff Mobility for Training / Staff Teaching Mobility

1) Eligibility

  • Faculty/Administrative staff must be full-time/part-time employees of KHAS.
  • Staff with a contract with KHAS can participate even without tenure.
  • If you effectively work in a different HEI under a fixed term contract, you participate via the institution you effectively work at.
Important: Erasmus+ Agreement is not required for STT mobility.

2) Duration

  • Min 2 days
  • Max 4 days
  • Total activity: min. 8 hours (job shadowing, workshops, meetings, etc.)
Important: If the activity is < 2 days or < 8 hours, it is considered invalid and the grant must be returned.

3) Destinations

Denmark, Ireland, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, Lichtenstein, Luxembourg, Norway, Germany, Austria, Belgium, France, Italy, Cyprus, Greece, The Netherlands, Spain, Malta, Portugal, Bulgaria, Latvia, North Macedonia, Slovakia, Czechia, Poland, Romania, Estonia, Croatia, Lithuania, Slovenia, Hungary, and Serbia.

Partner institution is recommended. If the institution is not a partner yet, contact the host institution for an invitation letter.

Note: Erasmus+ agreement is not required for the administrative staff exchange program.

4) Grants & Quotas

Up to 7 (4+3) candidates will be selected for the Erasmus+ grant. Payments are made in Euros (€).

  • 80% daily grant + 100% travel grant (ideally before departure)
  • Remaining 20% after all after-mobility documents are submitted

5) Criteria (Scoring)

Base Point: 10

  • English Certificate (min. B1). B2: +5 • C1: +7 • C2: +10
  • Job experience at KHAS: 0–1:0 • 1–3:+1 • 3–5:+3 • 5–7:+5 • 7–10:+7 • 10+:+10
  • Disability: +10 • Martyr/veteran spouse/child: +10
  • Former applicants: -10 • Holding a residence for outgoing country: -5
  • Signing new Erasmus+ agreement: +5 each (max 10)
  • Rarely visited countries/institutions: +5 (Estonia, Malta, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Luxembourg)
  • Administrative staff are prioritized.
  • AI-related activities prioritized (National AI Strategy 2021–2025). Host must state clearly in invitation letter: PDF
  • AFAD afetzede yardımı alanlar (kendisi / 1. derece yakını) önceliklendirilir.
  • Digital skills trainings prioritized (ESCI, digital tools, programming/IT systems for HEI management). Host must state clearly in invitation letter.

6) Documents

  • Invitation Letter from the host institution must be uploaded.
  • Applications without invitation letter are ineligible.

7) Right to Appeal

  • Selected candidates have 7 days to accept/reject via [email protected].
  • If not selected/reserve, you can appeal within 7 days via written petition.

8) Timeline

  • Activities must be finished by 30 June 2026.
  • If selected, you cannot apply to another staff call before completing your first activity.
+3 quota explanation: Candidates who benefitted before and have the lowest score eligible for a grant will be selected based on the previous (2024) project regulations.
