Our university adopts a research culture based on the values ​​of academic freedom, academic ethics and honesty, interdisciplinary work, teamwork, innovation, creativity, entrepreneurship, university-sector cooperation and social benefit, and where an ecosystem is established where students and academics at all levels can work together and effectively in a way that is nourished by these core values.

Our basic policy is to develop a research culture based on cooperation, the necessary physical research infrastructure, initiatives in the field of industrial property and university-sector cooperation in order to become a research university of international standards, and to increase the visibility of our university in national and international rankings.

Our university aims to provide quantitative increase in research together with qualitative increase. As a result of the qualitative improvement policy, it aims to increase not only the number of publications or projects and funding amounts; but also the Q1 publication rate and externally funded, national and international research projects supporting graduate students.
