Prof. Dr. Meltem Ucal’s Project Supported Under Horizon Europe
It is our distinct pleasure to announce that the project coordinated by Prof. Dr. Meltem Ucal from the Department of Economics has been awarded funding for the Horizon Europe MSCA Staff Exchange Program.
Within the scope of the 48-month project titled “AI4SUSTAIN – Empowering the European Workforce for the Green and Digital Transition through AI-Enhanced Skills Development” aims to empower the European workforce’s capacity for the green and digital transition by leveraging AI-driven forecasting models to identify skill gaps in renewable energy, sustainable infrastructure, and circular economy sectors in terms of labor market competencies. Through a robust programme of collaborative secondments among academic, non-academic, and policy stakeholders, AI4SUSTAIN will promote mutual learning and knowledge transfer.
