Our World Rankings
At Kadir Has University, we continue to achieve significant success in both global and national rankings. By advancing our academic excellence, research capacity, and societal impact each year, we are consistently evaluated by globally recognized institutions.
Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2026
We became one of the 15 Turkish universities ranked among the top 1,000 in the THE World University Rankings 2026. Among 109 universities from Turkey included in the ranking, we were placed in the 601–800 band (715th globally), ranking 7th in the country. Our strongest performance was in the “Research” indicator, where we ranked 500th worldwide.
THE World University Rankings by Subjects 2025
In the Business & Economics category, where universities from 85 countries were evaluated, we ranked in the 501-600 band worldwide. Among foundation universities in Turkey, we secured 4th place, and 7th place in the overall national ranking, marking an important success on both national and international levels. Additionally, we are honored to be one of the nine Turkish universities newly included in this year’s ranking.
In the Social Sciences category, which includes fields such as political science, sociology, and international studies, and where universities from 100 countries were assessed, we ranked in the 601-800 band globally. Among foundation universities in Turkey, we achieved 6th place, and 12th place in the overall national ranking, further solidifying our growing international recognition in the field of social sciences.
THE Interdisciplinary Science Rankings
We achieved the 401st position in THE Interdisciplinary Science Rankings, reaffirming our strength in interdisciplinary research.
THE Impact Rankings 2025 Achievements
In the THE Impact Rankings, we ranked in the 201–300 band among 2,318 institutions worldwide. Looking at our achievements based on the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
- Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions: 28th in the world, 1st in Türkiye
- Gender Equality: 29th in the world, 2nd in Türkiye and among foundation universities
- Quality Education: 2nd among Turkish foundation universities, ranked in the 101–200 band globally
- Decent Work and Economic Growth: 1st among Turkish foundation universities, ranked in the 201–300 band globally
- Reduced Inequalities: ranked in the 201–300 band globally
- Partnerships for the Goals: ranked in the 201–300 band globally
- Sustainable Cities and Communities: ranked in the 301–400 band globally
- Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure: ranked in the 401–600 band globally
QS 2024 European University Rankings
2025 European University Ranking: Kadir Has University was ranked in the 551-600 band among universities from 46 countries in the QS 2025 European University Ranking. Additionally, we were positioned 51st in the Western Asia region.
URAP Türkiye Universities Ranking for 2025-2026:
- Among the 53 universities with fewer than 6,000 students, we rose to 4th place.
- In the overall ranking, we ranked 7th among 73 foundation universities,
- 9th among 87 universities without a medical faculty, and 3rd among foundation universities without a medical faculty.
