The project titled “Family Year’ Discourses in Media and Social Perceptions of Family Policies,” led by our Communications PhD Program student Asya Özer, has been awarded funding under the TÜBİTAK 3005 program. The study aims to provide an academic perspective on social policies by examining the “family” discourse constructed within media and political language. |

Our Visual Communication Design Department Head, Dr. Emre Sünter, delivered a presentation on his TÜBİTAK 3501 project, titled “Designing a Participatory and Interactive Science Communication Model: A Case Study on Microalgae,” at the event “Citizen Science Workshop: The Interdisciplinary Journey of Participatory Knowledge – Methods, Case Studies, and Art,” which brought together academics from various disciplines. |

The works of our Visual Communication Design faculty member, Doruk Kumkumoğlu, were featured in the group exhibition titled “The Sun Never Saw a Shadow,” which showcased pieces from 38 artists working in the fields of photography and painting. Held simultaneously across two different venues in Ankara, the exhibition focuses on interdisciplinary dialogue and offers a multi-layered perspective on contemporary art production. |
