Compulsory Internship

Faculty of Art and Design Internship Applications

Steps Students Must Follow for Their Internship:

  1. The student selects the institution where they will complete their internship in accordance with the internship directive and implementation principles, and applies through the Career Module on MyKhas (my.khas.edu.tr) at least 15 days before the internship start date. In order to submit a compulsory internship application, the student must be registered for the relevant internship course before the internship period.

  2. During the internship period, the student must complete the internship logbook by writing in detail, day by day, the work carried out. (Each working day must be written on a separate page; if necessary, more than one page may be used for a single working day, and the same date must be written on those pages. Photographs related to the work carried out should also be placed on the relevant working day’s page. Visual materials too large to fit on one page may be attached to the back of the internship logbook, provided that they are referenced on that day’s page.)

  3. Students must submit the documents related to their completed internship (Internship Logbook and Internship Evaluation Form) as scanned digital copies (soft copy) through the Career Module on MyKhas (my.khas.edu.tr) on the date announced by the internship commission (no later than the fourth week of the following academic semester). If deemed necessary, internship advisors may also request the printed originals (hard copy) from the student.

    • Page 9 of the internship logbook file is the template page on which you will write the details of the work you carry out each day. You must duplicate this page according to the number of days you intern. You may fill in the internship logbook digitally on a computer or print it out and complete it by hand. Once you complete the internship, all pages of the logbook must be approved by the workplace internship supervisor (signed and stamped) and submitted in the format specified by the department internship commission.

    • Once the internship is completed, this document must be filled out by the workplace internship supervisor, approved, signed, and stamped, and submitted in the format specified by the department internship commission.

Note: The language of the internship logbook for submission is Turkish; international students and students doing their internship abroad may complete their logbooks in English.
