The nominees and special award recipients for the 27th HDI Sigorta Sadri Alışık Theatre and Cinema Actor Awards have been announced. Two members of the Kadir Has University community have been honored with awards following evaluations by expert selection committees.
On Monday, September 21, 2026, Merve Asya Özgür and Gül Doğa Selvi from Kadir Has University will receive their awards at the ceremony to be held at the Atatürk Cultural Center (AKM).
Merve Asya Özgür, a graduate of our Department of Theatre, was honored by the Cinema Selection Committee with the Ekrem Bora Best Breakthrough Actor of the Year Award for her performance in O da Bir Şey mi?. Gül Doğa Selvi, a student in Film and Drama Master’s Degree Program, was honored by the Theatre Selection Committee with the Selection Committee Award for Solo Performance for her performance in the play Aşağıdaki Pencere.
