Call for Interviews for the Life Experiences of Migrants Working in Istanbul Project

Kadir Has University Department of Architecture Faculty Member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ezgi Tuncer’s research project, funded by TÜBİTAK, examines the urban lives of highly-educated migrants.

We would like to hear from you if you are a university graduate, if you are not a Turkish citizen (you may be a dual citizen), if you are working in Istanbul (you may be temporarily unemployed or working for a company abroad) and moreover if you are interested in participating in the research.

In the interviews, we talk about your reasons for coming to Istanbul, your migration process, your work, home and social life in your home country and here; we try to listen and understand your good and bad experiences. We hope that your experiences will help us contribute to more inclusive and improved laws and urban policies. Please do not think that your experience is ordinary. We all have both unique and collective experiences. Please participate in our research to create a better, equal and quality environment for all of us in Istanbul.
