Prof. Dr. M. Mustafa Çetin’s Latest Publication in Wiley ChemistryViews
Prof. Dr. M. Mustafa Çetin, who directs the SOPR Research Laboratory at our university, and his colleague Prof. Dr. Hao Li from Zhejiang University and ZJU-Hangzhou Global Scientific and Technological Innovation Center published a scientific paper in ACS Org. Lett. on December 2, 2022: https://doi.org/10.1021/acs.orglett.2c03560.
In this study, Dr. Çetin, Dr. Li and colleagues synthesized a prism-shaped cage-type molecule (pictured) using the Lewis acid-catalyzed Friedel-Crafts reaction. Shortly after the work was published electronically in the journal, it was published as scientific news on December 10, 2022 by the ChemistryViews website, known as “The Magazine of Chemistry Europe” of Wiley-VCH GmbH, under the title “Prism-Shaped Organic Cage”:
