KHAS Education Model is applied in all departments of the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences.
In their first years, our students take courses not only in the fundamental sciences of their field but also within the scope of the Core Program. The courses taken within the Core Program aim to equip students with the critical thinking and creative inquiry skills needed to prepare them for rapid change in every area of society, not just in their own fields.
In the following years, together with field courses, our students take active roles in projects conducted with our business partners in the sector within the scope of the Project-Based Education Model. Thus, they develop their professional competencies by applying the academic knowledge they have acquired to real business problems.
Our vision is to be a faculty that educates innovative, researcher, and entrepreneurial graduates; works with other sectors in the production of information and solutions; preferred by candidate students, lecturers, and alsı by domestic, international, individual, institutional collaborators, and partners; and become one of the most successful universities in our country in terms of all current and potential stakeholders.
Our mission is to train universal graduates who renew their expertise with an understanding of continuous improvement; working with a sense of social responsibility; to pave the way for its stakeholders by supporting and developing innovation and entrepreneurship; to produce information and technology in collaboration with different sectors through an interdisciplinary approach, and to make them available for the community.
