Taking advantage of our university’s central location in the city, we frequently invite guest speakers from a variety of organizations. Many of these events have gone beyond one-off seminars and taken the form of seminar series. Examples include the seminar series organized with the support of the Turkish Electronics Industry Employers’ Association and the IBM Seminar Series. Since the launch of our graduate programs, a guest speaker has been invited every week as part of SGS 598 Graduate Seminar, a course required of all graduate students. In many of their courses, our students also have the opportunity to hear about the experiences of representatives from industrial companies and non-governmental organizations, as well as our alumni. Some of the companies we collaborate with in our courses and/or projects include Enka, STFA, HepsiJET (D Fast Dağıtım Hizmetleri ve Lojistik A.Ş.), and Doğuş Otomotiv.
