The Kadir Has University Faculty of Art and Design Advisory Board meeting was held online on 21.07.2026 at 10:30. During the meeting, the Faculty’s annual activity report and self-assessment presentation were shared, providing information on the departments’ academic staff, student numbers, international exchange programs, and collaborations with partner institutions.
Participants were asked for their views on how teaching and learning processes could be improved in line with current needs, and in this context, the role of artificial intelligence in art and design education and its integration into the curriculum were discussed. The importance of events bringing together industry mentors, academics, alumni, and students within the Faculty’s project-based education model was also highlighted, and a productive meeting took place with the valuable contributions of the Advisory Board members, drawing on their experience in both industry and academia.
The Faculty of Art and Design Advisory Board comprises , Burak Aydın (M.Sc.), Prof. Dr. Deniz Hasırcı, Ertuğ Uçar (M.Sc.), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Esra Fidanoğlu, Ezgi Baltaş, Prof. Dr. Fehmi Doğan, Levent Furgaç (M.Sc.), Mustafa Toner (M.Arch.), Nazlı Bulum, Onur Koçan (M.Sc.), Özlem Yalım and Yeşim Kozanlı. The Board’s members include designers, architects, actors, and directors who graduated from the Faculty’s departments of Industrial Design, Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, Architecture, and Theatre and are now active in industry, as well as academics and administrators from various universities. Our Advisory Board brings together a rich, interdisciplinary body of knowledge grounded in both domestic and international experience.
