Kadir Has University Department of Economics is launching a new event series titled Turkish Economy Talks. On Thursday, November 4 at 20:00 on Zoom and broadcast live on KHAS Youtube channel, the opening event will be hosted by Dr. Serdar Şahinkaya.
Prof. Dr. Şahinkaya, based on his book titled Scissor Change in the Republican Economy: From Colonial Economy to Populist Economy, Dr. Şahinkaya will discuss the before and after of the Industrial Congress of 1930, which proposed solutions to improve Turkey’s industrial structure after the Great Depression that affected the whole world.
