KHAS Küresel Politik Ekonomi Seminerleri: Jan Kregel

Kadir Has University Department of Economics has started to host a series titled “KHAS Global Political Economy Seminars”. This event series is led by invited social scientists who are international experts who will analytically examine the developments in the world economy after neoliberal globalization and “aim not only to understand our world but also to change it”. Throughout the program, topics such as the climate crisis and green transformation; social exclusion and inequality in gender, ethnicity and all spheres; global labor markets; financialization and the 21st century of global capitalism will be discussed.

The guest of the event on Wednesday, November 30th will be Jan Kregel (Professor of Finance and Development) from Tallinn Technological University. You can follow Prof. Kregel’s speech titled “Beyond the Modern Monetary Theory” on Zoom at 20:00 Turkey time.
