KHAS Global Political Economy Seminars: Steve Keen

Kadir Has University Department of Economics has started to host a series titled “KHAS Global Political Economy Seminars”. This event series is led by invited social scientists who are international experts who will analytically examine the developments in the world economy after neoliberal globalization and “aim not only to understand our world but also to change it”. Throughout the program, topics such as the climate crisis and green transformation; social exclusion and inequality in gender, ethnicity and all spheres; global labor markets; financialization and the 21st century of global capitalism will be discussed.

The guest of the series on Wednesday, December 7th will be Steve Keen (Honorary Professor, ISRS Distinguished Research Fellow) from UCL. You can follow Prof. Keen’s speech titled “The Macroeconomics of Endogenous Money and a Way out of the Debt Trap” on Zoom at 20:00 Turkey time.
