We are very happy to welcome Per Engzell from the University of Oxford to the KHAS Economics Seminars.
Dr. Per Engzell is a sociologist and Postdoctoral Fellow at the Leverhulme Centre for Demographic Sciences, University of Oxford. He previously held an Award-winning Research Fellowship at Nuffield College, University of Oxford, and holds a PhD from the Swedish Institute for Social Research, where he is currently affiliated.
His research focuses on intergenerational mobility and how culture, technology and institutions interact to shape long-term economic prospects. He is particularly interested in new sources of “big data”, including digitized historical censuses and contemporary administrative records.
