KHAS Economic Seminars – Astrid Kunze

Astrid Kunze is Professor of Economics at the Norwegian School of Economics and Research Associate at IZA and CESifo. Her main research interests are Labor Economics and Applied Micro-Econometrics. He is particularly interested in the causal effects of public policies on labor market behavior. Kunze has worked on the evaluation of parental leave policies, childcare programs and cash-for-care policies as well as gender quotas on boards. Another research topic covers organization and diversity in companies. In her empirical research, she applies micro-econometric methods and uses administrative data. Her work has been published in leading journals in economics and she also contributed to the Handbook of Women and Economics, published by Oxford University Press in 2018.
