Department of Industrial Design student Robin Yayla won an Honorable Mention award in the IMMIB Industrial Design Competition with her product design project named “Panorama Mardin”.

Robin Yayla, a 3rd year student of the Department of Industrial Design, won an Honorable Mention award in the IMMIB Industrial Design Competition with her product design project named Panorama Mardin, which she developed within the scope of ID 301 Course. The ‘Panorama Mardin’ design, which was awarded in the souvenir category, reflects the cultural values of Mardin, which is home to different religions and languages with its thousands of years of history. Panorama Mardin is a candle holder inspired by this feature of Mardin, which is compared to a cemetery because of its yellow stone structures during the day and to a necklace because of its chirping lights at night.
