Asst. Prof. Yasemin Önder Receives TÜBİTAK 3501 Project Grant

It is our distinct pleasure to announce that the project coordinated by Asst. Prof. Yasemin Önder from the Molecular Biology and Genetics Department and entitled “Investigation of the Adaptive Inhibitory Circuits in the Ventromedial Hypothalamus Underlying Diet-Induced Obesity” has been funded by TUBİTAK 3501 – Career Development Program.

This research aims to uncover novel neural mechanisms for treating metabolic disorders by exploring how specific brain circuits control obesity and energy balance in mice. The study provides a foundation for potential clinical applications and drug development against obesity, one of the most significant health challenges of our time.
