Our Architecture Department Lecturer Ilgın Avcı Receives the “Europe 40 Under 40” Award
The “Europe 40 Under 40” awards are presented annually by The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies and The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design to encourage the new generation that will illuminate the near future of world architecture and design, honoring the most successful young architects, landscape architects, interior architects, and designers in European countries. Among this year’s winners of the award, which recognizes the 40 most successful architects and designers under the age of 40, is Ilgın Avcı, a part-time academic in the Department of Architecture, Architectural Project Studio, and partner at CAA.
