Best Actress Award for our graduate Ece Yüksel at the Istanbul Film Festival
The awards of the 41st Istanbul Film Festival, organized by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (IKSV), were presented at a ceremony held at Cemal Reşit Rey Concert Hall on Tuesday, April 19.
The National Competition jury of this year’s festival was chaired by director and screenwriter Onur Ünlü. Other members of the National Competition Jury were actress Demet Evgar, cinematographer Barış Özbiçer, artist and educator İnci Eviner and producer Marsel Kalvo.
The National Competition jury awarded prizes in 10 categories including Best Film, Best Director, Special Jury Award, Best Actress, Best Actor, Best Screenplay, Best Cinematography, Best Editing, Best Art Direction and Best Original Music.
Kadir Has University Theater Department graduate Ece Yüksel won the Best Actress Award for her role in the film “Ela ile Hilmi ve Ali”. Actor Halil Babür presented the award to Yüksel. We congratulate our graduate and wish her continued success.
