At the Kadir Has University School of Foreign Languages English Preparatory Program, we equip our students with the language proficiency and academic skills they need to succeed in the University’s English-medium academic programs.

Application Requirements

 
Turkish Citizens

Applications from Turkish citizens are accepted only for Lecturer positions officially announced by Kadir Has University. These positions are advertised in accordance with the Higher Education Law No. 2547 and the Regulation on the Procedures and Principles Regarding the Central Examination and Entrance Examination to be Applied in Appointments to Academic Staff Positions Other Than Faculty Members.

The eligibility criteria, required application documents, and application deadlines are specified in detail in the relevant job announcement.

For Non-Turkish citizens who are native speakers of English:

● Have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in English Language Teaching or other related fields

or

● Have at least a BA degree in any other field, a 2-year language teaching experience in an internationally recognized school/center, or a CELTA/DELTA certificate.

For Non-Turkish citizens who are non-native speakers of English:

● Have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in English Language Teaching or other related fields and a 2-year language teaching experience in an internationally recognized school/center, and a CELTA Certificate or DELTA

● Excellent command of spoken and written English

● Applicants who are non-native speakers of English also need to submit a minimum YDS score of 90 or an equivalent score from an internationally recognized proficiency exam such as TOEFL.

How to Apply

International applicants may submit their current CV and a teaching philosophy statement of no more than two pages via email to [email protected]. Applications will be retained by the relevant unit and reviewed as staffing needs arise.

Turkish citizens, however, are required to apply only for vacancies officially announced in the Official Gazette and must submit their applications in accordance with the procedures and requirements specified in the relevant job announcement.
