TUBITAK Award to Gender and Women’s Studies Research Center
Kadir Has University Gender and Women’s Studies Research Center was awarded by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) for its achievements in the Horizon 2020 program with the project titled “GenderEx – Gender for Excellence in Research” coordinated by Prof. Dr. Mary Lou O’Neil.
On March 23, 2022, we would like to congratulate our esteemed faculty member Prof. Dr. Mary Lou O’Neil and the entire project team, especially our esteemed faculty member Prof. Dr. Mary Lou O’Neil, for winning the success award presented to the coordinator institutions within the scope of the Horizon Europe Program Opening Event hosted by TÜBİTAK, the world’s largest innovation and research program.
The GenderEX project is designed to promote the integration of the gender dimension in research, particularly in Turkey, and to put in place best practices for this purpose. The project aims to promote the adoption of a gender perspective in research, with a focus on Early Career Researchers (ERRs) in Turkey who conduct research in different scientific disciplines. The details of the project, which is carried out in collaboration with three internationally leading partner universities; Lund University (Sweden), University of Genoa (Italy) and Dublin University of Technology (Ireland), are available on the website: https://genderex.eu/
