Prof. Dr. Asker Kartarı, Faculty Member and Director of the Creative Industries Platform, and entitled “ CreativeNext: AI-Supported Platform in Cultural and Creative Industries ” has been funded by the Istanbul Development Agency (ISTKA) Artificial Intelligence Technologies Grant Program.

It is our distinct pleasure to announce that the project coordinated by Prof. Dr. Asker Kartarı, Faculty Member and Director of the Creative Industries Platform, and entitled “ CreativeNext: AI-Supported Platform in Cultural and Creative Industries ” has been funded by the Istanbul Development Agency (ISTKA) – Artificial Intelligence Technologies Grant Program.

This project, carried out under the umbrella of KHAS-YEP/FabriKHAS, aims to accelerate the digital transformation of Istanbul’s creative economy. In partnership with the Municipality of Çekmeköy, the 12-month initiative will provide 500 individuals and 50 institutions operating in fields such as advertising, design, fashion, media, game development, music, film, and visual arts with trainings, workshops, mentorship programs, and a digital collaboration platform to integrate artificial intelligence technologies into creative processes. The project also aims to enhance the technical skills of women and young people in the sector, fostering the development of AI-driven innovative products and services, and contributing to strengthening Istanbul’s international competitiveness.
