KHAS Learn – Learning Management System

KHAS Learn is our university's course management platform. Students and academic staff can share course materials, manage assignment and exam processes, and communicate through announcements and forums. It is easily accessible from desktops, tablets, and mobile devices.

Step-by-Step Usage
Select your role
  1. Log in: Sign in with your KHAS email address and password.
  2. Select your course: Open the course from the My Courses section.
  3. Follow content: Review materials in weekly modules.
  4. Assignment/Exam: Upload assignments and complete quizzes on specified dates.
  5. Announcements: Check announcement forums regularly.

  3. Activities: Define assignments/exams/quizzes; set submission and grading settings.
  4. Communication: Inform via announcements; moderate forums.

Download the Moodle app from the App Store or Google Play and log in with your **KHAS email address and password**.

Recommended
  • It is recommended to prepare file format/size according to instructions (PDF/DOCX, [limit] MB).
  • Marking submission dates on the Calendar and tracking progress via My Courses will be beneficial.
  • It is appropriate to verify the Submitted status and that attachments open after submission.
Not Recommended
  • PDFs consisting solely of scanned images where text cannot be selected should not be preferred.
  • It is recommended not to leave uploads to the last minute as delays may occur during peak hours.
If you experience access issues, trying a different browser and clearing the cache may be helpful.
For upload errors, it is recommended to use - instead of Turkish/special characters in the file name.

  • It is recommended to structure weekly modules with clear titles and short instructions.
  • It is useful to clearly state format, size, naming, and originality expectations in Assignment/Exam instructions.
  • It is recommended to share assessment criteria via rubric and provide feedback on time.
Not Recommended
  • Gathering long content on a single page should not be preferred; dividing into sections is more effective.
  • It is recommended to avoid inconsistencies between assignment submission and grading criteria.
Academic integrity: It would be appropriate to evaluate originality reports together with context and citation accuracy.
Reminders: It is recommended to schedule an announcement 48/12 hours before the submission deadline.
Frequently Asked Questions
Select your role

It is useful to check Student Affairs / course registration and possible financial/block statuses first. The semester may not have started yet. Also, ensure the filter on the My Courses screen is set to “All”; active course cards may not appear if “Past” is selected. If a course access key is used, make sure you enter the correct key.

The Submitted status should appear on the page after submission. If not, try refreshing the page, trying a different browser, and clearing the browser cache. If the issue persists, inform the course instructor with a screenshot.

Logins are made with KHAS email address and password. For password issues, you can request a password reset using IT Support channels.

Keeping your browser updated, disabling the pop-up blocker for the relevant page, and trying a different browser may be helpful. You may need to update PDF/viewer plugins.

You can access them from the Grades tab. If grades have not been announced yet, they may be viewed later depending on your instructor's schedule.

Course visibility, course start/end dates, and enrollment method (e.g., self-enrollment key) should be checked. Inform via announcement if necessary.

It is useful to consider file format compatibility and waiting time for resubmissions. You can adjust exclude bibliography/quotes options in activity settings if needed.

Editing mode must be on. Compression/optimization is recommended for large files. If the quota warning persists, you can contact IT Support.

Yes. You can update dates from activity settings. After the change, it is recommended to share an announcement with students and check Gradebook visibility.

You can add it as a URL resource under the relevant week/module or share it in the course announcement. You can create a calendar event and provide reminders if necessary.

Gradebook visibility settings and release dates should be checked. Hidden categories or scale differences may affect grade visibility.
