eduroam – KHAS Wireless Roaming Network

eduroam (education roaming) provides secure internet access at universities and research institutions worldwide using your corporate email credentials. You can connect with the same username/password at KHAS campuses and other eduroam member campuses.

Use the eduroam CAT installer to automatically configure eduroam for your device.

If CAT is not available, you can follow the "Manual Setup" steps below.

Windows 10/11 – Manual Setup

    Select eduroam from the network list.

    Enter your username (full email) and KHAS password.
  3. 3
    If advanced settings are required:
    • EAP method: PEAP
    • Inner authentication: MSCHAPv2
    • CA Certificate / Server: Approve the corporate certificate. (Consult IT Support if unsure.)

    Connect → Internet access becomes active upon verification.
Android – Manual Setup
  • EAP method: PEAP
  • Phase 2 authentication: MSCHAPv2
  • CA Certificate: "Use system certificates" (or "Validate" depending on device). Consult IT Support if unsure.
  • Identity: full email (format as above)
  • Anonymous identity: can be left empty
  • Password: your KHAS password

Menu names may vary by manufacturer.

iOS / iPadOS

Select eduroam from the network list, connect with your full email and password. If a certificate warning appears, select Trust.

Setup via profile installer (CAT) is recommended if possible.

eduroam at Other Campuses
  • Your device connects automatically at eduroam member institutions; your username must always include the KHAS domain.
  • Connection speed and access policies may vary by the host institution.
  • For your security, do not save your password on public computers; keep your device updated.

Your usage is subject to the university's network and information security policies.

Frequently Asked Questions

First, ensure you type your username in full email format. Reset your password if it is not current. On Android, Phase 2: MSCHAPv2 must be selected; on Windows, PEAP + MSCHAPv2.

Toggle Wi-Fi off and on, enable airplane mode briefly and turn it off. If the issue persists, you might be out of range.

"Forget" the eduroam network on your device and reconnect with your new password. Update the auto-connect option.
