IT-Duties and Responsibilities

The Software Development Team designs, develops, and maintains software projects for the university's academic, administrative, and student business processes. It supports digital transformation by developing web-based applications, automation systems, and user-oriented solutions. It designs innovative software to streamline processes and ensures internal integrations.

The SAP Team ensures the continuity of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. It is responsible for the development, updating, and user support of SAP modules. It protects data integrity, optimizes reporting processes, and contributes to the reliable management of the university's financial, administrative, and academic processes.

The System & Network Team manages server systems, on-campus and off-campus network infrastructure, firewalls, and backup mechanisms. It implements up-to-date cyber security measures to ensure information security. It maintains the university's internet, e-mail, and communication services without interruption and implements disaster recovery plans.

The Educational Technologies Team ensures that teaching and learning processes at our university are carried out digitally in a reliable, accessible, and measurable manner. It maintains the continuity of the Learning Management System (KHAS Learn), lecture sessions via Microsoft Teams, exam security tools (LockDown Browser), and smart classroom/hall technologies. It offers pedagogical-technological application support to academic staff, usage and access support to students, and evaluates and implements next-generation educational technologies.

The Support Team offers fast solutions to the daily IT needs of university employees, academic staff, and students. It provides hardware, software, access, and user support. Not only does it resolve issues users face, but it also carries out preventive maintenance services. It serves as the first-level support team for the smooth operation of IT services throughout the campus.
