A New Project Support to Our University from TUBITAK 3005 Program
The project titled “Conceptualization of Slavery in the Twenty-First Century” by Prof. Bülent Diken from our Department of Radio, Television and Cinema has been entitled to be supported within the scope of TÜBİTAK 3005 – Innovative Solutions in Social Sciences and Humanities Program.
By treating slavery as an empirical phenomenon, a virtual idea and a social relation, this project aims to develop a conceptual infrastructure, language and perspective to make visible and explain new manifestations of slavery in the 21st century.
