A New Book by Prof. Dr. Asker Kartarı
Kadir Has University Advertising Department Head and Creative Industries Platform Director Prof. Dr. Asker Kartarı’s latest book has hit the shelves.
“Two Hearts Three Books – Mixed Marriages in Istanbul”, published by Phoenix Publishing House, fictionalizes the results of a research project carried out to understand the role of cultural differences in marriages by going beyond the academic format.
“Mixed Marriage” is a generic term for marriages between people from different cultural groups, but more often emphasizes religious and racial differences. This book is the first comprehensive study of the often unspoken marriages between Turkish citizens of three religions in Istanbul.
