3 New Project Supports to KHAS from TUBITAK ARDEB 1001 Program
Of the 7 research projects we applied to the 1st term of the TÜBİTAK ARDEB 1001 Program for 2022, 3 of them were entitled to be supported, and 1 of them was decided to apply without waiting for the next term.
In the first term of 2022, while the nationwide support rate for the submitted projects was 16.5%, this rate was 42.8% at our university.
We congratulate our faculty members whose projects were supported — Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suncem Koçer Çamurdan, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nima Jafari Navimipour, and Dr. Durul Ulutan. We also wish success to Dr. Nuray Söğünmez Erdoğan, who received a “Can Be Improved” score, in her next application.

Prof. Dr. Durul Ulutan from the Department of Mechatronics Engineering. The 1001 project titled “Stochastic Modeling of Tool Free Surface Wear Intertwined with Cutting Force in Machining of Nickel-Based Alloys”, led by Durul Ulutan.
1001 project titled “Misinformation and Resilience against Misinformation in Turkey from the Perspective of Media Users”, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suncem Koçer Çamurdan from the Department of Public Relations and Publicity.
Prof. Dr. Feza Kerestecioğlu is also a Researcher in the 1001 project titled “The Development of Ultra-Efficient and Fault-Tolerant Nano-Scale Digital Circuits for Quantum Computing” led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nima Jafari Navimipour from the Department of Computer Engineering.
