Financial Transparency and Accountability

Kadir Has University maintains a strong commitment to financial transparency and accountability in all its research and development activities. In line with national higher education regulations, the University’s annual R&D financial data are systematically compiled and submitted to the Council of Higher Education (Yükseköğretim Kurulu Başkanlığı) each year. The figures presented below demonstrate our institution’s commitment to transparency, accurate reporting, and compliance with auditing requirements. These data illustrate our transparent use of resources and our accountability in managing both internal and external R&D funds.

Please note that TL stands for Turkish Lira, the official currency of the Republic of Türkiye.

Note: Apart from these items, additional expenditures by the foundation higher education institution, such as laboratory infrastructure, machinery-equipment purchases, consumables, and personnel costs, may generally be considered within the scope of R&D; however, since a low value like 1% of student income is taken as a reference for tangible and clear R&D outputs, only the items above will be taken into account in calculating the total R&D expenditure.
