The proposed project aims to uncover the mechanisms coordinating the dynamic remodeling of the microtubule network and kinesin-based cargo transport. The objectives of the project are: 1. To determine how microtubule dynamics affect kinesin mobility at the single molecule level. 2. To understand how cargo and network properties affect transport efficiency. 3. To determine how asymmetric microtubule networking is established and how directional cargo transport is facilitated in polarized cells.<\/p>\n\n
