Meeting of the Campus Animal Welfare Committee Held"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Campus Animal Welfare Committee has been established to improve the living conditions of cats and dogs that are an integral part of campus life, ensure regular monitoring of their health, and promote sustainable standards for animal welfare across the campus.<\/p>\n\n<p>The Committee held its first meeting on September 29, 2026, during which the following matters were discussed:<br\/><br\/><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Assessing the living areas and overall conditions of cats and dogs living on campus,<br\/><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Establishing a regular system for monitoring their general health and veterinary care,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Developing standards and procedures for feeding, shelter, care, and hygiene,<br\/><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identifying needs and areas for improvement concerning the welfare of animals across the campus,<br\/><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coordinating with veterinary services and relevant University units when necessary,<br\/><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assessing potential risks related to campus hygiene, applicable legislation and regulations issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, and health conditions such as allergies, and planning the necessary measures accordingly,<br\/><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identifying, implementing, and monitoring actions to address the needs identified,<br\/><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Developing a sustainable approach that takes into consideration the well-being of animals as well as the needs of students and staff within the campus environment.<br\/><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><div class=\"ticket-layout-left\">&#13;\n<div class=\"ticket-card\">&#13;\n<div class=\"ticket-card-body \">&#13;\n<div class=\"ticket-comment-section \">&#13;\n<div class=\"ticket-comment-body\">&#13;\n&#13;\nComprising members of the University\u2019s academic and administrative staff as well as students, the Campus Animal Welfare Committee aims to contribute to creating a healthy, safe, and sustainable campus environment that respects the needs and well-being of all living beings.&#13;\n&#13;\n<\/div><br\/><\/div><br\/><\/div><br\/><\/div><br\/><\/div><br\/><div class=\"ticket-layout-right\">&#13;\n<div class=\"ticket-card ticket-manage-card\">&#13;\n<div
